TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
